This Means Something – A Close Encounters cryptic teaser trailer

If you didn’t know or if you missed it, July 2nd was World UFO day and on that day Sony released a teaser trailer video on their YouTube page entitled ‘This Means Something’.

The trailer is 56 seconds long and shows mostly of an air traffic control screen tracking flights. However the audio is from the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind and flashes of images taken from the movie are also seen.

At the end of the trailer we see wearestilllnotalone.com. 

If you go to the website it asks you to register to recieve updates on UFO sightings.

Sony are apparently planning to re-release Close Encounters of the Third Kind in cinemas from September 1st. The movie is ranked as one of the greatest Sci-fi movies of all time.

They say ‘This Means Something’ so what does it actually mean?

Is this just a teaser to promote the re-release of the movie? Are they creating a re-make or is there a sequel coming?

I guess we will have to wait and see.
