I thought I would post something a little bit different from ghost and UFO stories.
With Virtual Reality becoming more popular by the day, with the growing popularity of the Oculus Quest 2 and good few other more expensive Virtual Reality devices on the market as well as Playstation VR and not forgetting the announcement of the ‘Metaverse’, I though I would suggest some paranormal games that you can play in Virtual Reality so that you can terrify yourself silly (if you are into that sort of thing). I will steer clear of the typical zombie and monster type games.
As a bit of a gamer myself, more a casual gamer, and an owner a Quest 2 I can vouch at how immersive VR gaming can be. If you own a VR headset you will know how it can bring games to whole new level, especially scary and horror games. Once you put that headset on you are transported inside a whole new world and believe everything that you are experiencing is real.
If you are an owner of a VR headset and you are into the paranormal and feeling brave then try out these games.
Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul – PSVR, PCVR
Paranormal Activity : The Lost Soul gets your heart racing with a scare around every corner. You will be shaking and on edge the whole time.
The Exorcist: Legion VR – Quest 2, PSVR, PCVR
Easily one of the scariest VR games. You take on the role of an investigator and look for answers following a series of strange happenings that start off in a large Chapel. The game has multiple episodes that leads to an amazing final set piece. The game is only a few hours long but is well worth it.
Wraith: The Oblivion Afterlife – Quest 2, PSVR, PCVR
Set in a haunted Hollywood mansion that acts as a prison. You try to unravel the mystery behind why the mansion is full of ghosts by using your supernatural powers.
Blair Witch – Quest 2, PSVR, PSVR
A dark and scary story that will force you into insanity. Keep that flashlight on!
Face Your Fears II – Quest 2, PCVR
A very scary game where you explore a dark haunted world which includes spiders, old houses and graveyards. Its full of jump scares and up there with the very scariest VR games.
Phasmophobia – PCVR
Phasmophobia is terrifying! Its one of the scariest games around without VR. In VR mode it brings it to a whole new terrifying level! Play solo or as a 4 player online co-op where you and your team members of paranormal investigators enter haunted locations filled with paranormal activity to try and gather as much evidence of the paranormal as you can.
