Exorcism Carried Out in Ireland To Remove A Baby Poltergeist

A quiet family home in Galway, Ireland, was reportedly the centre of a chilling supernatural case in the 1990’s, a one that ultimately led to a full exorcism being performed on the property.

According to an article in the Irish Mirror, the Fahey family, consisting of parents Jackie and Ester, daughter Martha, son Michael, his fiancée Mary, and Martha’s baby Sarah-Louise, all began experiencing poltergeist activity shortly after baby Sarah-Louise was born.

What initially started as minor oddities such as weird smells and displaced items soon escalated into a series of full blown events such as items being thrown and unexplained noises.

What mostly alarmed the family was that the activity centred around baby Sarah-Louise’s bedroom. Family members reported hearing unexplained noises, strange smells, sudden temperature drops and an oppressive atmosphere in the room.

On one occasion they heard heart-wrenching cries coming from the baby’s room. They rushed in to check on her only to see her sitting upright in the middle of her soft toys that had been placed in circled around her.

As days turned into weeks, the activity reportedly intensified so much that the family had to move out leaving just Michael and a friend living there.

The families story attracted nationwide attention which led to parapsychologist Sandra Ramdhanie offering help.

Sandra investigated the history of the house and found that a baby had died in the house centuries earlier and she claimed that it was jealous of baby Sarah-Louise receiving lots of attention, that’s why it was haunting the home.

An exorcism was carried out on the home and the poltergeist departed leaving the home peaceful, calm and back to normal.
