The Pentagon officially releases UFO videos as “unidentified aerial phenomena”

Today the Pentagon released previously classified UFO videos that has been labelled as “aerial phenomena” that remain “unidentified”

The footage consists of one video taken in November 2004 and two more filmed in January 2015 according to the Pentagon statement.

You may recognise the videos as they had been shared online and in the media in 2007 and 2017 as unauthorised releases but after a “thorough review, the department has determined that the authorised release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems,” according to the Department of Defense statement.

They say they are officially releasing the videos in order to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that had been circulating was real. The aerial phenomena observed in the videos remain characterized as “unidentified”.
