I’ve heard and read a good few things about this house in Hull, UK ,recently. The house has been dubbed Britain’s most haunted house and its owner is welcoming people to spend a night there.
Ghost hunters nickname the seven bed house in De Gret Street ‘The Hostel’. There have been a lot of reports of hauntings happening at house and once the police were once involved in a search after reports by mediums of a presence of an evil force.
Faces have been seen looking out of the windows, a woman has been seen being pulled across the room by her legs and a man was seen being help up against the wall.
Andy Yates who owns they house said:
“I lived in the house by myself, and I came downstairs to find steak knives balanced on the plates in the drying rack”.
“I’ve tried to rent the house out a couple of times, but the longest anyone has lasted is four days. Some people couldn’t return after measuring the house up for furniture”.
“I once saw a child’s shadow come out of the fireplace and hover for about 15 minutes. When I eventually plucked up the courage to move, it disappeared back into the wall”.
“When I put the house up for rent, a woman who had lived there 24 years previously contacted me on Facebook”.
“She told me she had been dragged out of bed and strangled but when the police turned up they told her off and that it was all just a hoax.
“Just as they were about to leave, a bookcase fell on them, and they ran straight out of the house.”
The house is open to the public on May 13th and for £65 per head you can spend the night there.
Would you spend the night there, maybe all by yourself?
I think Ghost Adventures should pay the house a visit. So if you happen to read this Ghost Adventures team, get yourselves across to Hull 😉
