The curse didn't end, because ALL 3 of the attending doctors would pass away tragically inside these wall. This place was never meant to be a hospital... It was meant to be a home, but fate would have it that thousands of people would take their final breaths within this house. Since then, it has gained a terrifying reputation of being haunted. In the 1970s it was an apartment building and some of the paranormal experiences residents would have here chilled them to the bone. The legend behind them reaches all the way back to the Apache Tribe who believed them to be a portal to the underworld, and cursed anyone who tried to steal gold from them. It is this curse that leads people to believe all who perish near the peaks will be cursed to wander the Arizona desert forever. At the base of the Superstition Mountains, sits the Goldfield Ghost Town, an attraction that simulates a wild west gold mining town.
