Creepy image of an old man’s face seen in a picture frame at Barras Market – Glasgow
A paranormal investigative team believe they may have captured a ‘ghostly face’ on one of their live stream investigations at the Barras Market, Glasgow, Scotland.
The Scottish Ghost Company, who hold regular night time investigations around the country, recently headed to the famous spot on London Road, and were filming live from inside Randalls Antiques and Vintage Centre, when eagle eyed followers pointed out what they had captured on screen.
David McCabe, the group’s lead medium, and paranormal investigator and host Yvonne Hydes, were filming on Friday (February 14), but didn’t spot the creepy face at the time.
Taking to TikTok to share the video, they posted: “Wow! who is this fine gentleman? whilst on our live on Friday night a lot of our watchers were seeing multiple faces on this picture frame. we didn’t see it at the time.

In the clip, they point out the frame is not a mirror and is actually the owner’s art work and features a surreal multi-coloured images, but in the video, you can clearly see what appears to be an old man’s face turn to the camera.
Shocked fans described the video as “creepy”, while one who spotted it during the live stream said that the face appeared to be “wearing small round glasses at one point too”.
Another joked that the face looked like “Paddy from Emmerdale”.
One of Scotland’s top ghost events companies, the TSGC has over twenty crew members spread all across Scotland and the north of England, with experience in the area of paranormal investigations dating back decades, they’ve previously held investigations in spooky places around Glasgow such as the Renfrew Baths and even allowed us to enjoy them for an investigation in Provan Hall House, said to be one of the most haunted spots in the city.
What do you think, is it a face or trick of light?
