What to watch this Halloween night

This Halloween is going to be a little bit different for most of the world due to Covid-19. No gatherings, no fancy dress parties, no trick or treating, it looks like we will be spending this Halloween in our own homes.

So if we are going to be stuck indoors this Halloween night I though would share some ideas on what would be worth watching on TV to get us spooked and get us into the Halloween vibe.

For UK residents, Really Channel is the place to go to for a ghostly night.

9:00pm GMT Ghost Adventures: The Curse of the Harrisville Farmhouse

This was Ghost Adventures 2019 Halloween special. A 2-hour special episode where Zak and the team investigate Harrisville Farmhouse, the house that inspired the hit film The Conjuring.

11:00pm GMT Devil’s Road: The true Story of Ed and Lorraine Warren

A documentary about Ed and Lorraine Warren. Over their 50 year career they investigated thousands of hauntings, their most famous cases was the Amityville Horror House and the Harrisville Farmhouse.

For US residents, Travel Channel is the place to be.

8:00pm ET/PT Ghost Nation: Reunion in Hell

This is a 2-hour special with the Ghost Nation crew teaming up the Amy Bruni and Adam Berry from Kindred Spirits. They are investigating Seaview Terrace in Rhode Island. A 40,000 square foot mansion where the owners have felt a shift in the mansions energy, unleashing something menacing.

If you want a movie night you could watch a classic paranormal movie. Some may look dated now but they can still make you hide behind the cushion.

Here are some classic paranormal movies as a suggestion.

Poltergiest
A nasty poltergeist that terrorise a family and kidnaps their daughter. Rumours even say the movie was cursed.

Ghostbusters
No explanation needed, its a fun movie.

The Sixth Sense
A young boy who can ‘see dead people’ seeks the help of a disheartened child psychologist.

The Others
A great movie starting Nicole Kidman. A woman who lives in a darkened house with her two photosensitive children is convinced her house it haunted.

The Exocist
A famous classic from 1973.  A 12 year old girl is possessed by a mysterious entity and her mother seeks the help of two priests to save her.

Those are just some suggestions for what you could watch this Halloween.

Just like with the past few years I will also post and share any live ghost hunting video streams that are taking place this Halloween, so keep a look out for a new post update on Saturday if you are looking to do some live ghost hunting from your home.

If you have your own recommendations on what to watch please feel free to share in a comment.
