As a huge fan of classic, black and white horror movies, you can imagine my joy of moving to Los Angeles with my hubby.
Finally, I had the chance to see the studios, lots, and locations haunted by Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi among others.
However, I soon learned there was more to the city and county than Hollywood. Like any other city of its size, it is bursting with haunted locations.
Here’s just a few I’ve been to over the last 12 months:
The Old Zoo, Griffith Park
Wonderland Murders House
Thriller House
Linda Vista Hospital
Hollywood Wax Museum
Beverly Hills Bermuda Triangle
Bela Lugosi’s Apartment
However, my favorite of all will always be the hauntingly beautiful, Boris Karloff Rose Garden situated on Bowmont Drive.
A keen gardener, friends of the erstwhile Frankenstein’s Monster and The Mummy actor asked to have their ashes scattered throughout his garden. He obliged and in turn created a haunted legacy you can enjoy today.
